Why do we need such Age Care Facilities?

When we grow older and get to the end of our life all we have is our story. It will offer the Elderly people to put their life into perspective and tell their unique stories.

A recent opinion survey by Oziment has shown that there has been an increasing need for such Age Care facilities, specifically for the elderly Australian who have migrated to Australia from Indian Sub-continent and contributed significantly to the Australian Economy and Society in general.

The South Asian population is growing significantly for a long time in Australia so as their culturally, linguistically diverse need. The ageing population of these group requires aged-care facilities specific to their culturally, linguistically diverse beliefs.Such Age care facilities will provide the opportunity to create a community home where shared language, reminiscences, food and cultural identity will allow elders to living in an environment familiar to them.

Oziment’s Endeavour and commitment:

In March 2019, the company has decided to expand its health care services role to provide affordable and culturally appropriate Age care facilities and Nursing home for elderly Australians.

Base on Australian values and ways of life, in addition to the mainstream nursing home, it will also provide personalised and culturally appropriate such care homes. The company is optimistic that it will not only provide much needed culturally attuned care but also create jobs for the local population. In this regard, the company has already started its consultation process with the Central Coast Council to establish its first unique Age care facility and Nursing home. Aged care services dedicated to specific multicultural communities can make all the difference in helping this older Australian feel at home. Research has shown that those suffering from dementia often revert to their mother tongue. By having staff onsite that speak that same language, residents can be better understood and cared for.

From offering traditional food, celebrating festivals together, hosting dedicated spaces to practice religion and culture, these facilities ensure that older generations remain connected to their roots.
